Nodes & digipeaters in the Denver area are scanned every 15 minutes.
Every half hour, a random NET/ROM node is selected. This node is checked for new nodes, and their MHeard list is scanned for new operators & digipeaters.
If you have a suggestion for a new node or digipeater, click the light bulb icon. The entry won't be added to the map immediately, but will be added the next time the call shows up on an MHeard list.

After updating LinBPQ, I am now unable to parse telnet output and unfortunately I am no longer able to update the packet node data. This map now displays all data retrieved between 2020 and 2023-06-21. I will keep it running indefinitely.2023-06-20
Some folks have mentioned that they would prefer it if I would "jitter" all locations shown in the map to protect privacy. Please answer the survey here so that I know what should be done.2021-03-28
Made available an API for accessing MHeard, operator, digipeater, and node data. It's available at www.packetradiomap.com/api

Added callsign pattern matching so that aliases are not looked up on QRZ. This prevents false positives from appearing. The effect will be seen gradually as MH lists are checked.

Switched from hamdb.org to qrz.com for coordinate info. Point coordinates may differ until all are re-scanned.
